All the way from drilling through evaluation to completion, IPI provides reliable, high performance, inflatable packer based products to facilitate optimum execution of essential activities. IPI continues to innovate, offering standard and custom designed tools such as those shown below.
Casing Circulating Tool
The IPI CCT (Casing Circulating Tool) has been developed to aid and improve casing run-in operations. For filling, simply pump through the tool. The packer is left deflated to allow air to be displaced (avoids pressure build-up) and only inflated when needed for circulation.
Mineral Drilling Annular Diverter
The IPI Mineral Drilling Diverter system, is a compact inward inflating annular diverter specifically designed for mineral coring to suit N, H, P sizes.
One Shot Cementing System
This system offers a means of cementing casing while protecting lower producing zones. Typically, the well is drilled to TD and casing (with or without in-line screen) is run with an inflatable casing packer and cementing valve. A mechanical setting tool is run inside the casing on a cementing string to seat inside the packer and both inflate the packer and cement the casing annulus in a single trip.
Production Injection Packer (PIP)
Incorporates the same valving used on ICP and PIBP in conjunction with IPI's inflatable packer elements, well known for their ability to recover to the uninflated diameter, which is critical to operational success when retrieving.
Remedial Cementing Packer (RCP)
IPI’s retrievable Remedial Cementing Packer (RCP) is a field proven innovative inflatable packer system designed for retrievability after remedial cementing. The retrievable RCP features drillable residual components, which makes it the optimal solution for shutting-off lost-circulation zones encountered during drilling operations.
Retrievable Inflatable Bridge Plug (RIBP)
IPI’s Retrievable Inflatable Bridge Plug (RIBP), utilises our field proven PIBP and ICP inflation valving system in conjunction with a DuraGRIP™ packer element, which provides bi directional sealing and anchoring. There are two standard mechanisms to enable deployment using drill pipe, Coiled Tubing, and Capillary Tube.
Single Set Treatment Packer (SSTP)
The Single Set Treatment Packer (SSTP) is a thru-tubing system which utilizes IPI’s DuraGRIP™ inflatable packer technology in conjunction with a pressure-activated inflation valve to provide bi-directional zonal isolation and anchoring to enable pump through operations without workstring manipulation.
Slip-on Casing Packer
IPI Slip-On Casing Packers are built with internal diameter large enough to allow them to be slipped onto a joint of casing and then are secured in place using a high strength, epoxy resin. The clearance between the packer I.D. and the casing may be adjusted at the design stage to provide for slipping over couplings or external upset tool joints.
Thru-Tubing Permanent Inflatable Bridge Plug (TT-PIBP)
IPI’s Permanent Inflatable Bridge Plug (PIBP) incorporates the DuraGRIP™ packer element which has bidirectional sealing and anchoring capability. The design also utilizes an equalisation feature, that eliminates the effect of wellbore pressure, to ensure correct tool function regardless of setting conditions. There are three standard configurations to enable deployment on Coiled Tubing, Capillary Tube, and *Wireline/Slickline.
Thru-Tubing Retrievable Inflatable Bridge Plug (TT-RIBP)
IPI's Thru-Tubing Retrievable Inflatable Bridge Plug (TT-RIBP), utilizes InflataLOK™ valving system in conjunction with a DuraGRIP™ packer element, which provides bi-directional sealing and anchoring. The TT-RIBP is an innovative design with an equalization mechanism allowing the operator to equalize any potential pressure below the packer with the annulus above, before activating the deflation mechanism.
Water Well Completion System
IPI offers a water well completion system that addresses the common problems of running and gravel packing telescopic screens. The system comprises the IPI Grab Packer for installation of the well screen and supporting it throughout gravel placement. Sealing of the top of the screen to the casing is then achieved using a retrievable IPI slip-over screen sealing packer.
